Your gift can make great things happen.
You already know that we are dedicated to opening young minds to possibilities, innovation, and exploration. But you may not know exactly how we can use your gift to make that happen.
Your donations make our world better.
At The Children’s Museum, we inspire and empower all children to realize their potential in the world. Thanks to the generous gifts of our supporters, we are able to accomplish this by creating memorable learning opportunities, immersive exhibits, and powerful experiences that engage and delight both children and adults.
Your support makes powerful learning experiences possible.
How? When you make a gift to The Children’s Museum, your valuable donation may go to any of the following areas:
- Museum experience. The heart of The Children’s Museum is the people who elevate the visitor experience, making the museum truly one of a kind.
- Future exhibits. Future exhibits are only possible when funding is secured. New experiences continue to make the museum one of the best places in the world to ignite joy, wonder, and curiosity.
- Programs that serve all. Our programs provide support and resources to families from the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as free and reduced admission to underserved families from across Indiana.
- Area of greatest need. We cannot fulfill our mission without your help. If you choose not to dedicate your gift, it will be applied to our area of greatest need.
Recent donations helped accomplish amazing things, including the following:
- A new spinning vortex tunnel in the Haunted House. The upgrade allows visitors who use wheelchairs and parents with strollers to enjoy the experience with ease.
- A new 3D scanner. Scans are used for research (including scanning bones from our dig site in Wyoming) and 3D printing objects.
- A special expedition to find the Allosaurus. Our team of paleontologists was successful! They found the teeth, nose, and sinuses to add to the neck and skull they uncovered the previous summer.
“I have been attending The Children’s Museum since I was a child. Generally, I would go on field trips. As an adult/parent, I find myself truly appreciating the museum for my children. I have been to other children’s museums in other states. And while they are great, none have compared to this one. I am so excited for my kids to experience a place I grew up with as well.”
